I found these drumsticks at my local market so I thought I would give them a try. I chose to deep fry them because I figured that would be the best way to ensure extra yummyness.
I decided the first drumstick that I ate should be by itself without any sauce. The drumsticks have a very thin crispy ouside which I wasn’t really expecting. I’m not sure what they use to give it that paper thin crispyness. The inside texture of the chicken isn’t bad. It’s almost like a more chewy chicken nugget, which isn’t at all a bad thing, though the flavor was pretty bland. When I dipped the drumsticks in the sauce, it was a different story. The curry sauce and the drumsticks seem to compliment each other. The curry sauce gives the chicken a nice kick of flavor.
Overall, I’d say it’s pretty good. They are rather small, and without sauce they are pretty bland, but other than that if you plan on using the curry sauce or some other sauce, they are excellent.
