This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending SoCal Vegfest in Orange County California. I had only been to 2 other vegan festival type events before this and my experience over all for those events were less than satisfactory due to things like extreme heat, impossibly long lines, very high prices, etc.. I was pleasantly surprised that when I arrived at SoCal Vegfest, I didn’t experience any of that. I didn’t have to go purchase tickets to get food or wait in a long entrance line. This event was free to attend and open to the public.

There were so many amazing vegan food companies and vendors including Follow Your Heart, Daiya, Gardein, Malk, Miyokos, PETA, Heidi Ho, etc.. As well as oh so many food trucks and restaurant tents including Sage, Southern Fried Vegan, Vegan Pizza, Scandylous Delights, Tacos Chila, The Donuttery, and so much more..
Besides amazing vegan food and products, there were speeches from many amazing people, cooking demonstrations, live music, a Halloween costume contest, and a cupcake competition! There was even a peace and quiet zone!
I had an amazing time and all the food was incredible!
If you get a chance to go next time, I highly recommend it. Look for me there next year! I might even be a vendor
